I was a big fan of Pop Poppins (I live in Denton). Saw them live 15+ times. Epitome isn't the best introduction to the band (that would be their '93 self-titled album which unfortunately isn't available anymore), but if you've heard and enjoyed other Pop Poppins stuff, you should definitely pick this up. "Pure Imagination" is well done; "I Like Love" was the song that saw the band getting serious local radio play and a spot playing in a festival which included all kinds of national acts. "Fall Back" and "Don't Fall Asleep" are nice PP songs you shouldn't be without. - Kevin White
